‘Akoma Mu Nsem’ crew is saved after a timber truck at Asokwa fails its brakes
Bad news would have been announced that two team members of Akoma FM’s Akoma Mu Nsem crew were engaged in a car accident on Wednesday afternoon, but for God’s timely intervention.
The event occurred on June 29 while the victims, Evangelist Samuel Mensah and Nana Akua, were leaving the performance.
Though there were no casualties, the incident happened after a timber truck failed brake on the Asokwa interchange and descended through the Ahodwo Roundabout direction and drove through several cars including that of the Akoma Mu Nsem crew.
Seven cars were involved in the accident as several passengers sustained various degrees of injuries.
Nana Akua and Evangelist Samuel Mensah were rushed to the hospital but their car was mangled beyond repairs.
According to information obtained by 3news.com, Nana Akua and Evangelist Samuel Mensah have been released from the hospital and are doing well.
The pair will report to work with the rest of the team on Friday afternoon, per medical advise, assuming they are healthy enough.
