The so called NPP Super delegate elected a fruit from the poisonous tree- Edudzi Tameklo
The Director of Legal Affairs for the National Democratic Congress, Godwin Edudzi Tameklo is convinced that the vice president, Mahamudu Bawumia is “one of the poisonous fruits” who topped the just ended NPP delegate conference.
Speaking on TV3’s NewDay, Edudzi Tameklo who said he is not surprised about the outcome of NPP’s delegate conference labeled the NPP under the leadership of President Akuffo Addo and his vice president as one embroiled in forcefulness and intimidation.
“The so-called Super delegate of the NPP have basically decided to elect one of the fruits of the poisonous tree, so effectively they have only put before Ghanaians one of the fruits of the poisonous tree which Akufo Addo has created, so I’m not surprised with what has happened. The leadership of NPP under Akufo-Addo and Bawumia from the very time they took over the NPP is one of intimidation and violence”
The legal Affair Director stressed that the brutishness in the NPP cannot be concealed.
“If you look at the 10 years NPP has been under the control, direction of Akufo-Addo, the NPP has been turned into a party of thugs and thuggeries, violence, at a point the NPP headquarters had become a sign post of violence and that is the record which cannot be whitewashed.”
