NDC can’t win Assin North election because of Nana Addo’s good work – Agya Koo

Veteran actor Agya Koo has backed NPP to win the Central Region’s Assin North Constituency by-election.

Following the Supreme Court’s decision that the election of former MP James Gyakye Quayson was invalid, the election will take place on June 27, 2023.

The court ruled that his election was invalid because, at the time he applied to run, he was bound by the rules of another nation, which was against Ghanaian law.

The Kumawood actor claims that Nana Addo’s sterling effort would persuade the voters to support the NPP candidate.

The actor said that prominent NDC members were spreading false information about President Akufo-Addo and the NPP in order to undermine their efforts to pass legislation legalizing L***G***+ people.

Agya Koo stressed in an interview with AMBASSADOR TV that the NPP will receive a resounding majority of the vote in Assin North Constituency as a result of President Akuf-Addo and the NPP’s development initiatives there.

Ambassador, Come to Assin North and witness asphalt roads, markets, schools and ongoing developmental projects by NPP and Nana Addo. The people of Assin North are ready to say thank you to NPP and Nana Addo with their votes” Agya Koo told Osei Kwadwo of AMBASSADOR TV.

The actor adds that “NDC propaganda against President Akufo-Addo and NPP over LGBTQ will never give them victory in Assin North. Ghanaians are aware that President Akufo-Addo and NPP will never accept L***G****Q so NDC members are just spreading propaganda to win sympathy votes in Assin North but they will never succeed”.

I don’t understand why members of NDC think the people of Assin North will vote for propaganda over development. They have witnessed the good work of Nana Addo and NPP in the constituency.

“If NPP wins the Assin North seat, the constituency will witness more developmental projects because the Parliamentary candidate for NPP in Assin North will team up with the government to ensure more developmental projects in the constituency,” he concluded.
