The 2023 DJ Mac Volta DJ Awards took place on Saturday, August 12th, at Bula Lounge in Ho, Volta Region. This event is dedicated to recognizing the top DJs and songs of the year, along with celebrating prominent figures in the industry, noteworthy mixtapes, and influential personalities.
Hosted by award-winning DJ and radio show host Ahoefa Mimi, Volta DJ Awards‘ 3rd annual show featured some big wins, emotional tributes and big performances, including a surprise performance byTuff B, Taffy Music and more.
Going into Saturday’s ceremony, DJ Cent, led this year’s nominations with an impressive Four nods.
He won two awards, namely the ‘Artiste(s) DJ of the Year’ award and the biggest honour of the night ‘DJ of the Year’.
