NAM1 deserves a monument for his impact on entertainment industry – Bullgod

Bullgod, the head of A&R at Zylofon Music and a former manager of Shatta Wale, has suggested that a huge statue be built to honor Nana Appiah Mensah.

Bullgod asserts that Nana Appiah Mensah, or NAM1, has had the most impact on the Ghanaian music industry of any businessman, past or present.

Bullgod complimented Nana Appiah Mensah for funneling significant sums of money into the artistic sector in an interview on Hitz FM’s “U Sey Weytin.”

“Zylofon was the first record label to arrive. He bought them homes, cars, and money. Ghana should erect a statue in honor of Nana Appiah Mensah for his contributions to the entertainment industry.

The artiste manager claimed that prior to the MenzGold scandal, Nana Appiah Mensah had big intentions and was working hard to elevate Ghanaian music to the top.

“All of the calculations that these boys are making would have been done far earlier. Here we are, having to remove our own trees to make room for foreign ones.

He said, “Zylofon was in charge of those international plugs… There was an intentional effort to promote every Zylofon performer when I served as CEO of Zylofon Music.

When its CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah, resigned over the Menzgold scandal that shook the country in 2018, the Zylofon Music record company, which signed artists like Shatta Wale, Becca, Joyce Blessing, Stonebwoy, and Kumi Guitar, among others, failed.
