UK Government not issuing visa sponsorship to international applicants

 message circulating on social media, mainly WhatsApp, called for applicants to apply for a United Kingdom Visa sponsorship. Below is a screenshot of the message captured on one of the WhatsApp groups.

According to the message, the British government is looking for National and International applicants who can fill the shortage of jobs in the United Kingdom with benefits such as; 99.9% Visa Sponsorship and a 99.9% Success Rate.

Below the message, this link was provided to click on to start the application process. After clicking the link, applicants are taken to the registration portal, where their personal details are demanded.

The applicants are then welcomed with congratulatory messages and assurance of sponsorship. Afterwards, they are required to proceed to the next stage, where they are supposed to share the generated link with five WhatsApp groups or 15 contacts.

Here are screenshots of all steps applicants are required to take.

Verification

When you click on the link, it redirects you to this site which the researcher verified thoroughly.

The fact-checker did an independent check on the original link from various website verification tools such as Scam detector and Scamadviser and found the following:

Though ‘Scamadviser’ said its SSL certificate is valid, it rated the site with a low trust score of 57/100. Here is a full analysis by Scamadviser.

Scamdetector rated the site as low as; 39.9/100 and recognised the site under a Digital entrepreneur with this flagged message;

“This website is poorly designed and doesn’t contain elements in the metadata that could help its online presence. As a result, it loses credibility and shows that its quality is questionable momentarily. We will update this information as soon as they improve their back end.  Here is a full analysis by Scamdetector.

On the redirected link, Scamadviser flagged it as a suspicious website with a low rating score of 30/100. Here is a full analysis. Checks reveal that the domain name of the page was created in January 2022, and in October 2022, PesaCheck verified and published that the page was a hoax.

Even some applicants wrote their comments under the application, doubting the process’s authenticity. A tour on www.gov.uk (the official website of the UK government), particularly on visa-related articles, proves that; there is no such thing as Visa-Sponsorship2023 but rather UK Visa sponsorship for employers.
