With Efforts to increase the security level in the country, the minister of National Security, Albert Kan-Dapaah revealed 10,000 additional Security cameras will be installed in a nation wide project called “Alpha Project”.
The Minister made this clear when he took the floor to brief parliament about the state of security in the country ahead of the General election scheduled for next month.
The project which is of two separate phases saw phase one completed the installation of 800 cameras in different parts of the capital city. Whiles phase two now will lead to the installation of 10,000 more cameras in all regional and district capitals, sensitive installations as well as all entry points across the country’s border. He said.
