Ghana music industry needs to be worked on thoroughly or nothing will work – Trigmatic

For some days now musicians including Edem, Stonebwoy, Reggie and Bolie, Samini among others have been calling for reforms in the industry.

They have asked for royalties to be worked out for artistes so as to have some sort of income when one retires from music.

They also mentioned getting proper monetization of songs on digital platforms and involving young musicians in decision making.

Sharing his opinion in a tweet, Trigmatic noted that “Ghana music industry! One that needs to be worked on thoroughly. Improved royalty systems, education, good mergers, accountability etc or else nothing’s gon work!”
