The Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has said that investigations are ongoing with the death of the father of former MUSIGA President, Bice ‘Obour’ Osei Kuffour.
In an answer to a question at a press briefing on Sunday, Kojo assured that the issue of whether Obour did not disclose the travel history of his father to the Ridge Hospital, is under investigation.
A news report by myjoyonline.com suggests that the former MUSIGA President lied about the travel history and COVID-19 status of his father, Nana Osei Boansi Kuffour who died at the facility on March 26, 2020.
Meanwhile, in a statement by Obour, he said he mentioned the travel history of his father to the Ambulance conductors.
Obour has, since the news broke, been lambasted by a section of the public for gross negligence on his part.
In the meantime, authorities at the hospital are yet to officially respond to the claims.
