President Nana Addo sets date for the reopening of the borders

President of the republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo stated during the 15th update on Measures taken against spread of coronavirus that, the time for the opening of the borders is due.

According to him, he want to make sure that, the country is in the right position to successfully test every single person who arrives in the country before he gives the go ahead.

He stated that, the ministry of aviation, and all other necessary institutions in line with the international borders are working with the Ministry of health to provide a sure data in that regard.

The president however assured that, he is very optimistic that, by the first of September, 2020 the borders may be opened to international activities.
